Hazel After Zohar
Zohar azaan echoed in Aziz Mansion.
Hazel finished her namaaz, closed her Qur'an gently and whispered a soft dua for Haris's safety.
She placed her tasbeeh on the prayer mat-
Buzz.
Her phone vibrated.
Her heart skipped.
She hoped... maybe... Hari?
She picked up without thinking
.
"Ji Hari...?"
A pause.
Then a burst of loud laughter.
Ejza:
"HAZEL BHABHI-HARI?? Main kabse architect ban gayi?"
Inaya from the background:
"Awww she misses her husband too much!"
Hazel's cheeks turned a deep pink as she hid in her dupatta.
Hazel:
"N-no... it slipped..."
Inaya winked through the screen.
"Slipped or missed? We know everything, Mrs. Haris."
The twins teased her until she finally giggled helplessly.
Her Mother video call Notices
Rafiya:
"Beta, sweater kyun nahi pehna? London cold hota hai."
Hazel just shrugged softly, trying to hide the little ache inside her chest.
But at night, during a video call-
Haris noticed instantly.
"Hazel... warm sweater kahan hai?
I told you - no cold, no risk."
She pouted.
"Missed you... toh dhyaan hi nahi raha."
His voice softened into pure warmth.
"Jaan... your health first. Promise me."
Her heart melted.
Dream Sequence
That night... she dreamed of him.
Soft lights.
Slow music.
Haris holding her hand.
Foreheads touching.
His confession whispered in her ear as he pulled her close.
She smiled in her sleep.
Fajr Morning Without Him
She woke up to the Fajr alarm... still smiling.
Until she saw the empty pillow beside her.
Her chest tightened.
She touched the pillow gently.
"Come back soon... Hari."
She prayed Fajr, made dua, recited her morning zikr, Surah Rehman - calming her heart.
Wedding preparations soon filled the house.
Inaya and Zara dragged her shopping, choosing outfits.
Inaya held a sleeveless blouse.
Hazel looked uncomfortable.
Inaya immediately softened.
"Only if you want, Hazel."
Hazel smiled gratefully.
Inaya hugged her and picked modest outfits for her instead.
Haris in Germany - Missing His Jaan
Haris barely slept - meetings, presentations, work...
But every free moment?
He checked Hazel's messages.
Her soft "jazakallah khair Hari" voice notes.
Her photos.
He smiled every single time.
But he was planning something bigger...
🎁 Hazel's Birthday Surprise
He secretly bought:
platinum couple bracelets
a soft cream abaya with gold detailing
her favourite perfume
skincare
modest matching night dress
calligraphy pens
chocolates
a tiny teddy bear
He packed everything himself.
Note:
"To my Hazel Jaan,
Every day without you feels incomplete.
- Yours, Hari."
And he didn't tell her...
He was coming home early.
The Fire Accident
Aziz Mansion was buzzing with wedding prep.
Hazel stepped into the kitchen to make chai.
The moment she turned the stove-
Hiss.
Gas smell.
Before she could react-
FWOOM.
A flame burst across the counter.
Hazel froze.
"Ya Allah..."
Heat licked her wrist.
She pulled back, trapped.
And then-
Haris entered.
He had arrived early.
He wanted to surprise her.
But when he smelled gas-
"HAZEL!"
He sprinted inside.
One glance at her trapped behind flames-
His heart stopped.
He tore off his jacket, pushed through the smoke, covered her, pulled her into his arms.
Her trembling body folded into his chest.
"Jaan... I'm here. Look at me."
She shook, tears falling.
Cousins outside:
"Hero entry!"
"Haris bhai aa gaye!"
"She's hiding in his chest!"
Hazel hid even more.
Haris ignored everyone, carried her upstairs straight to their room.
He placed her on the bed gently.
"Hazel... show me your hand."
She hesitated.
He knelt in front of her.
When he saw the burn-
His breath fractured.
"Hazel..."
His voice broke.
She whispered, "Hari... I'm okay-"
"No. You're not."
He applied ointment carefully - too carefully - like touching her hurt him more.
When Hazel winced, Haris's world shattered.
A tear fell from his cheek onto her hand.
"Haris..." she whispered.
He hugged her - gentle but trembling.
"I wasn't here. I should've been.
This burn...
It should've been me."
She placed her forehead on his.
"You came. You saved me."
His voice fell to a whisper:
"You're my Qalb-e-Jaan."
She smiled softly.
"Just stay with me."
He held her close, breathing her in - the way a drowning man holds air.
Fajr Together
Fajr azaan echoed.
Hazel was still curled in his chest.
He kissed her head gently.
"Jaan... wake up. Let's pray."
She tried rubbing her eyes with her burned hand-
He stopped her softly.
He carried her to the sink, helped her with wuzu, protecting her burn.
They prayed together.
Afterwards-
He tapped her nose.
"No work today. I'm making breakfast. And mug cake."
Hazel: giggles
Haris fell in love again.
🎁 Hazels Birthday - Heart Melting Scene
After breakfast, he wiped crumbs from her lips with his thumb.
Her blush was instant.
"Jaan...
I have something for you."
"Hari... for what?"
"For your birthday."
Her breath hitched.
He handed her the wrapped box.
"Hari... you remembered?"
"How can I forget the day the world got you?"
Tears filled her eyes.
She opened the gifts - one by one - gasping, smiling, tearing up.
"Hari... itna sab?"
He cupped her face.
"Everything for you.
You are my peace. My dua. My home."
"I love you so much..."
"No crying, my love.
Smile.
Aaj tumhari birthday hai."
Hazel threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly-
"Thank you, Hari...
You made my whole world today."
And Haris held her like she was his entire universe.
